Dominican Identity and Migration to Hispaniola: a documentary

The first component of the open forum is a screening of Dominican Identity and Migration to Hispaniola,  film that documents the roots of the different ethnic groups, including Arabic, African, Jewish, and Asian migrations as well as the cultural migrations as well as the cultural influences of Haitians and US freed-slaves to this Caribbean island.

The film screening will be followed by a Question & Answer session with its producer, Nestor Montilla, Director of Public Relations for Hostos Community College, and a board member of the Dominican American National Roundtable.
